Meet Dr. McLain
Dr. Landon McLain is a unique addition to Charlotte, being the only fellowship trained, double-board certified cosmetic surgeon in the area. Dr. McLain completed both dental and medical school before distinguishing himself as an intern in general surgery at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. After completing his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery, he was accepted into perhaps the most competitive fellowship in general cosmetic surgery, under the directorship of Dr. James Koehler and current president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS), Dr. L. Angelo Cuzalina. Unlike most of his colleagues, Dr. McLain's fellowship focused entirely on cosmetic surgery where he performed over 1400 elective cosmetic surgical procedures. Dr. McLain has lectured and written on multiple topics regarding facial, breast and body rejuvenation, and has served as faculty for multiple live surgical workshops sponsored by the AACS, helping to train other surgeons from around the country in the latest techniques in facial, breast and body enhancement. Dr. McLain believes in providing patient focused care in the safest manner possible and that addressing esthetic concerns can help to promote a patient's confidence and an improved daily outlook.
